(Sligo Data Solutions — for bank-connected clients)

This notice explains how Sligo Data Solutions collects, uses, and protects your personal data specifically in relation to the bank account connection and transaction retrieval service. It supplements our general website privacy policy.

Who is the data controller

What personal data we process
Account holder name; bank account identifiers (e.g. IBAN); account balances; transaction data including dates, amounts, currency, descriptions, and counterparty names/details.

Where this data comes from
Directly from your bank, retrieved via Enable Banking following your explicit authorisation.

Why we process this data
Performance of a contract (to provide the bookkeeping and reporting services you've engaged us for), and your explicit consent given directly to your bank during the open banking authorisation flow.

Who we share this data with
Enable Banking (regulated account information service provider) and Supabase (database hosting). We do not sell your data or share it for marketing purposes.

International data transfers
Data is stored within the European Economic Area.

How long we keep your data
For the duration of our engagement, and for a limited period afterward to meet our legal, accounting, or tax obligations. Data will be deleted immediately after use. You may request earlier deletion, subject to our legal retention obligations.

Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request correction, request erasure, request restriction of processing, receive your data in a portable format, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Automated decision-making
We do not currently use your data for automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.

Security measures
Your data is stored in an access-restricted database, protected by row-level access controls, and encrypted in transit.
